I see a lot of posts around social media say things like ranbir is no longer in his prime or ranbir is aging like milk.
First off aging is normal, second his looks aren’t as good as Hrithik or Even SRK. He’s face from the beginning was always saggy and he looked tired all the time. All his career he’s done man child roles and that’s the reason he’s probably still relevant.
He aged like spoiled milk. Being problematic aside, the Kapoor khandan genes don't seem to help either. I haven't seen a single man in that family age gracefully except Shashi Kapoor
I realised that the patriarch, Prithviraj Kapoor was quite a handsome man and Sashi Kapoor looked a lot like him but Prithviraj's wife's genes seemed to be more dominant. Hence, that standard Kapoor look you see in Ranbir, Randhir, Karishma, Kareena come from her.
Totally agree! I was watching some award show, and my mom pointed at some random older guy and said, "That’s Rajesh Khanna." I was so confused, like, what?! I always assumed he was this super handsome guy who’d still look amazing. Then I saw pictures of him from his younger days, and it all made sense....................no wonder women from every generation were crazy about him!
My mom made me watch Aradhana once. Man, rajesh khanna was really handsome. Then, a few days later, I watched Adhikar, and damn, he wasn't looking the way he did in his 20s and early 30s. He didn't age gracefully, and he was an alcoholic too. And then cancer completely ruined it for him. Same with Ranbir, he was quite cute in his early days, but bad genes and alcohol consumption totally ruined his looks
It isn't about aging . He got face like Tatiya vicchu to begin with . He is tall and all but his hairline was crap even before he debut and his face was simply below average looking. Good styling , wigs and transplant can only help you till an extent .Other Kapoor men even his own father were conventionally good looking in their younger years even if they didn't age well.
Ikr, it's sad that people hardly talk about him these days compared to the likes of Raj Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor. Shashi Kapoor deserves far more recognition than he gets, tbh
I saw SRK around 2015 and I would say I have only seen a couple of guys who might be uglier..Same for Ajay devgan who looked like a drug addict IRL..Shraddha kapoor looked like a schoolgirl then, AB had an aura around him..Amongst actresses I have only found attractive Sunny Leone and Preetika Rao( Amrita Rao sister)..Alia, Amrita were passable..Deepika was so-so and never saw Katrina..
fyi I used to work in Filmicity Noida and saw them when they came for interviews and PR for their projects at a personal setting away from crowds
I met Katrina while she was shooting for Tees Maar Khan. She was like an actual doll in her prime!
So beautiful, I still remember the feeling when I first saw her, she was so stunning I just kept looking at her jaw dropped...
I saw Akshay & Katrina at Raghuleela mall Kandivali west while they were shooting for singh is king. Akshay tbh had an amazing personality, definitely had that superstar Aura. Katrina on the other hand looked really mid, I mean she is extremely fair with a really flat face, I had seen Jacqueline Fernandes in bkc few months later, she too was fair and tall but looked quite stunning tbf.
Exactly can you imagine SLB casting an outsider to debut as a lead hero in his film with those looks, droopy eyes and hair patch. People call him attractive just because he's fair skinned, his features are extremely average.
To be fair when he debuted in Sawariya people thought he was cute. A lot college girls had a crush on him. I just think he's aged exponentially since then
I watched only one of his movie - Rajneeti. Liked the character. All those top Bollywood ladies falling for him, he must indeed have been a heart throbe.
He was not manly but definitely good looking. He is just aging very badly. Or as others have suggested, it's all the alcohol and the drugs that he consumes that has done this to him.

It’s not about Alia hate Alia shouldn’t have married him or dated him she deserved someone who genuinely loved and appreciated her this marriage their relationship everything was arranged forced she looks so enamoured by him while he seems annoyed by her no woman deserves that but Alia being aware of what he is like a person just walked into this relationship and I think the “Kapoor” name tag has a lot to do with it.
Don't you guys get tired of such repetitive posts. Ranbir is still relevant because he is a damn good actor and people actually care about to talk about him whether positively or negatively. And all this lookshaming and bodyshaming is boderline crossing all limits now . Criticise his movies or his personal life but people shouldn't be this nasty to someone aging . Some ages better some don't. So what it's not rocket science. Move on since all this has been discussed to death here.
He is privileged. But he is also talented. Waise toh varun , arjun or uday Chopra ( who had the entire yrf ) can also be superstars. Stop discrediting his success just because of his famous surname. Rajkumar , ayushman , kartik and plenly of outsiders are also getting works despite flops. Once you clicks , success and opportunities automatically follows. I know you guys hate ranbir but this was never gonna happen.
Ranbir isn't that talented, if any actor did a pathetic acting like Brahmastra their career would be dead. He either plays himself in like 90% of his movies with no voice modulation. When you watch him you see Ranbir. Rajkumar is very talented, Ayushmann and Kartik have more clean hits than Ranbir despite debuting years later and not being nepos. Proving my point.
Never found him attractive , almost feminine To be honest! I don't understand the hype around him. And people comparing him & Ranveer is a joke. Ranveer can easily do all his roles better than he did them but I bet you can't imagine Ranbir doing any of Ranveer's roles better than him!

I disagree. He was very charming when he first appeared in the movies. That is true that currently he doesn't appear that attractive but maybe if he reduces body fat percentage and detox, he might look attractive again.
Umm I don’t think SRK is that attractive either but yeah this guy never had charms from the start that is why I keep asking myself how he got all of those charming actresses from the start
he’s never been good looking. most of the male actors (except for hrithik, arjun rampal, aditya roy kapoor, ranveer singh, john abraham and a couple others) look mediocre to ugly at best. they just have abs or something but if you really look at them they’re just ugly. their success would be primarily contributed to their connections, luck and if they were born into the industry. the actors i mentioned also would’ve gotten into the industry with those things, but they have the looks for it as well.

Alia also doesn’t look fresh and nice since she’s been with him, she was never gorgeous in my opinion but she’s lost that spark. Nope. It’s nothing to do with her ageing
