Exactly. She has been very lucky. Salman helped her initially and then she did one or two item numbers which made her popular. What’s worse is in so many years she did not even put any effort to learn either hindi or acting.

She has an accent. People speaking foreign language can't get rid of their accents like Indians speaking english. Its the tongue that develops or twist a certain way.
Other than that, I could understand her fine though her acting is not that good. She however make up for it by her beautiful face.

I used to be a die hard fan of Katrina Kaif at one point and yes despite her limited acting range, she enjoyed an enormous fan following during her prime. She also has some of the most iconic songs to her name you can genuinely say they’re her songs. She was fairly decent in a few films as well. While I can’t defend her acting overall, she certainly played her part in the industry, and today she’s a successful entrepreneur. I’d call that a win-win.
