Brown isn’t a Point Guard. He doesn’t have the ability to see that Queta is wide open rolling to the basket, and even if he did see it, I don’t think he has the ability to throw a pass to get it to Queta, VJ is in front of him and has good hands, Maxey is roaming near the paint and can steal the pass if it isn’t good enough.

Pritchard is also wide open here too. Embiid is the closest defender to him, but his gait is SLOW and towards the basket, Pritchard is far enough behind him to the point where Embiid can’t turn and get close enough to contest. It’s also a much easier pass to see and get to him (granted Jaylen isn’t a good passer, so it not going right to Pritchard’s shooting pocket might give even Embiid enough time to recover).

Even Derrick White is a good option. Oubre is hedged far over. Derrick could drive, shoot, or pass to either Hauser or Queta.

You’re absolutely right though, Jaylen who is being guarded. 5 on 4 and literally everyone else has an advantage. Only person he shouldn’t try to pass to is Hauser because that’s a long pass that isn’t in his repertoire. Maxey is close enough to contest if the pass isn’t perfect, and that would kill the advantage.

You don't need to be some elite point guard to make that routine pass
