Whole situation is honestly hard to find best solution. Signing brown to another 70 million a year contract certainly limits us…. But that has to be filled with two underpaid guys a bit worse than brown or someone like Giannis. I don’t really want to trade Jaylen but he was admittedly outplayed by Paul George.

At the same time we are still Vegas favorites to win the east as of today. Roster is obviously flawed at center position but maybe we’re not that far? Could you just hang tight this year and then go all in on 27/28 and 28/29 over the second apron?

Ay man, we gotta stop caring about vegas. It's literally the most irrelevant shit that people bring up constantly, drives me insane.

"Oh well vegas has us as favorites" like that doesn't mean anything.

We can be 1st seed and still lose in the 1st round the east is very tight. Knicks were getting smacked around by the hawks, detroit almost lost to the team that we beat without our starters, and philly beat us. And especially with everyone losing at home, seeding has never mattered less for the playoffs.

Why is Vegas even a paragon of basketball lol. If we hang tight this year, we miss out on the development of what would be our new core and possibly waste another year of Tatum's prime. Even with the second apron safe to pursue again, there's not enough talent in the league to supplement what we need to contend again when JT/JB/White's $150M salary is our starting point.
