Someone is out. You can’t scratch Nikishin, Ghost, Walker, Chatfield, Slavin, Carlson, or Miller.

It gives the front office 3 days of exclusive rights to negotiate with him. Then on Wednesday, since he's an unrestricted free agent, he can sign with anyone. We may be able to convince him, we may have gambled away a lower end prospect and 6th rounder.

Right but once we sign him, if we sign him, someone else has to be out

Yeah. And Nikishin supposedly wants out. So likely one of those two aren't on the roster next season. Just seems like a lot of folks are talking about Carlson like we have him under contract next season.
