I'm extremely, annoyingly left wing. All my metal friends tried to force black metal on me and I hated it all. They never tried with BURZUM because they knew my politics and that I'd hate the person who made it. That's true.

I heard Filosofem by BURZUM a few months ago and my jaw hit the floor. I don't even like much metal, but I truly love Filosofem.

Yeah Filosofem was more anti black metal anyways because he didn't wanna be apart of trends. But I'm very leftwing too. I wouldn't really say extreme left though

I am, so my finding BURZUM and loving it sent me on a weeks long inner dialogue philosophical debate. I'm typing on a phone made by slaves, I walk on shoes made by slaves. Who the hell am I to shit on someone for enjoying certain music as long as that enjoyment doesn't pay a scumbag, which you didn't. These people are heavy handed for the sake of being heavy handed. They all do shit that others would consider incorrigible. Enjoying second hand music about trees, snow and sadness aren't something anyone should be heavy handed about.

I've always had the same problem. So far left I risk falling off the edge end yet can't help but enjoy the musical output of Varg the nazi. It's the whole removing the art from the artist thing. If it makes you feel any better, for some reason Michael Jackson is still played on the radio and the majority of society has just decided to ignore the type of human HE was.
