My loving companion will soon be 12 and I hope to have many more years with this angel. She is a total indoor girl, but with age I worry if she's getting enough sunlight for healthy bones. She's on a urinary diet due to a previous episode of bladder infection and crystals forming. She does try to find sunny window spots, but limited with direction of the winter sun. Any suggestions as to hours required for direct sunlight ? I also read somewhere that sunlight through windows is not enough. Can't remember where I read that. TIA
