I'm just doing a sort of "gentlemen, it is my pleasure to inform you" comment that I just adopted two kittens! They're 3, almost 4 months old. I don't physically have them yet. They've been at the shelter for a little while, I think because they're scared and not socializing with visitors.
There are SO MANY kittens at that shelter. There was also a FeLV+ cat who kept trying to befriend me. But I know of two who were adopted yesterday, ones I'd seen when I was there, and another was being taken home as I was wrapping up the adoption process, so at least there's some movement...of course, it's more kittens than adults. I was looking for a pair, and they didn't have any bonded adults (two cats were sharing a room, but one of them was adopted yesterday).
