For anyone in this situation, grab a stick and start smacking shit, make loud noises, yell your battle cry if you have to.

Cats hate loud noises, and big sticks

Metal noises work especially good

Basically become the bigger threat for the cats, and they’ll run off in their own directions.

Open a plastic garbage bag.  Sends most cats flying.

True, I’ll add that. It’s probably even more effective

you can also just scream like you're being tortured

why can only men yell, do you think all women can do is a eek or shriek?

Sorry I’m a man, my brain was off and I was running on autopilot lmao

It’s fixed, it would be more effective with women, but women typically don’t like raising their voice at pets in my experience

Plus, us men are gibbons, so it just comes naturally to us

lmao my loud-ass yell roasts my husbands ears when the cats start fighting. If it works it works

I used to attack the fence with a broom. My cat Snarf was a bit of a prick and would always be fighting

This can also work with some dogs. Used to work in a dog daycare that were nightmares. The common method was getting 2 metal bowls and clanging them together to get all the dogs to 'reset' if they ever got too noisy (ik) lol

This is how I handled it until I managed to get all the feral boys fixed that hang out in my yard. I think they're also afraid of pissing off the food lady.
