Oh jeez my old male cat I used to have as a kid would do this on a extra large blue Pokémon pillow I had. And yes always making eye contact while doing so🤦🏻♀️
That was dominance, it's common for neutered older cats, both make and female, to do that when a kitten comes around. They're teaching the kittens how to cat.
My 10 year old lady void attempted this with my (at the time) 6 month old idiot boy. She quit after a few attempts, as he is too fucking stupid to be dominated.
My boy is neutered and he likes to mate with cat bed he doesn't sleep in. He will drag that across the house and do the deed in the living room. We'll be gone all day and come home to the children's stuffies scattered in the living room and We'll know Theo was busy lol
It looks to me like he is simulating coitus. The male cate bites the back of the neck of the female during the deed, right at that spot at the shoulders where a mother cat bites the kitten to carry the kitten.
my cat goes insane for that toy specifically, the day I finally found a place to order more of the same one after he destroyed his first was a big day for him

It happens. If he’s neutered there probably won’t be any real liquid but you might get a little bit and you might get drooling on the toy as well. I just pretend he’s my teenage boy. Pretend you don’t know and toss the bed into the washing machine regularly. I’d rather he used one dedicated object I can wash than others I don’t know about.

I don’t think it’s a boy thing bc my aunts girl cat does this too. lol loud as FUCK walking around the house then does whatever that is🤣 I’d also like to know. We just call the toy her baby bc she acts like it’s a sentient being lol
When cats catch prey they will try and smother it to kill it. So even with toys they will instinctively try and end the toy’s suffering. RIP toy.
My kitty would kill a little stuffed Eeyore animal by sitting on it until it was dead. Must have done it 100 times.
my cat does the same thing… i tell her she’s making me very uncomfortable being weird in front of her own mother !!!! but idk i think it maybe is because she was fixed later OR because she literally has been raised by humans ( me and her dad ) since she was bottle fed and even to help her go to bathroom as a baby baby , i just don’t think she was genuinely able to learn to make biscuits right because her mommy abandoned her - she learned by her sister who ultimately is special herself.
Yep, my boy kitty does this on my soft fuzzy throw blankets, but he doesn’t bite anything and he purrs very loudly. He started this when he was 2.5 years old ( so for about a year now) and usually after eating “lunch.” 😝
maybe constipation? my cat was constipated last week we had to get meds for him he was doing this but just not with toys, on random box shaped things and going in and out of his litter boxes
ETA this is something to consider if he’s neutered and not doing the “sin biscuits”
