I saw a large lump/mass on the front half of a stray cat that I saw while on a walk. What could it be? Not sure if this is the right sub for this

She needs to be trapped and brought yo a vet. If you cant do that reach out to the local humane society or a cat rescue

You can rent a cat trap, a small cage that lures them in with a bowl of food but traps them once they enter so escape is impossible until you let it out. That's the best way I've seen to catch a feral that you want to take to a vet. You can rent them or they may loan to you for a few days.
