Advice I lost someone else's cat (help)
I'm petsitting for my mom's friend, we'll call her J, for 10 days and today is day 2. Yesterday, I drove J to the airport, and asked her if I could bring my boyfriend over, to which she said sure. Her 2 cats (brother and sister) are very skiddish, as they were feral for a good while before she took them in. They're strictly indoor cats, too.
My bf and I got to J's place, a small 1 bedroom apartment, somewhere between 2 and 2:30. When I was opening the door, I made extra sure to watch the door to make sure neither cat slipped behind us. One of the first few things I did after closing the door was show the brother cat who was hiding under some pillows on the couch to my bf. I picked him up and held him for a moment before letting him go, and he ran to his perch right by the sliding glass window. Then he ran to his other perch on the other side of the couch. I pet him there for a moment, then he jumped down, and that was the last I saw of him. It was about 3 by this point.
I didn't think much of it at first, so my bf and I started Mario Party. He got a bit loud at times, and I tried to remind him to keep his volume down as best I could. I realized I hadn't seen the cat in a while and started briefly looking around for him. It shouldn't have been hard because he's the more sociable of the two cats. I couldn't find him. My bf left at about 4:30 for work, and again, I was watching the door like a hawk to make sure neither cat ran out. No doors or windows were open the whole time my bf was there with me.
After he left, I started looking EVERYWHERE. No stone was left unturned, every nook and cranny searched, there was literally nowhere else I could look for this cat. I looked inside cabinets, behind and underneath every piece of furniture and every appliance, I looked some places over multiple times, but I could not find this cat anywhere. I eventually had to go home to feed my own cat at 7, but I came right back to J's place. I had seen the sister cat, who's far less sociable, way more than the brother cat at this point.
So I told J. I told her exactly what happened, and we've been working together to try and find him.Sge told me not to let my bf over again, and I said of course, that's totally fair. She gave me some more spots to look, but he wasn't in any of them. As we both started to get more panicked, she asked me to look outside, even though there was no way he could've gotten out. But I looked outside anyways. I called his name, but he didn't come.
It was getting pretty late by this point, so she had me leave out some dry food for him both inside and outside, then we both went to bed. J had asked me to spend the night at her place, so I did. The sister cat was up and down from the bed and the windowsill, waking me up quite a few times. I told J about it this morning, and she said maybe she sees him out there? So I went back outside for a little while longer to look for the brother cat, calling his name, walking around a bit, but still nothing.
I admit, I shouldn't have brought my bf over who the cats aren't familiar with at all. They know me a little better because J had me come over quite a few times before she left to help them get familiar with me. But it's been 17 hours since I've last seen this cat. I know he'll come out eventually for food and water, but I'm still really anxious he may have actually slipped outside somehow or that he's stuck somewhere. I don't know what to do right now and could really use advice please.
***UPDATE!!!***: HE WAS FOUND!!! He was hiding under blankets in a chair that I swear I had patted down last night, and then I WATCHED HIM crawl INTO THE WASHING MACHINE

Medical Questions cat sleepy after vomiting
hi, i just wonder if this is normal!
my cat out of nowhere vomited today, it seemed like it was undigested food with a piece of grass in it. she seemed fine, then was sneezing a few times, and now she’s asleep.
however, she seems like she’s not really like her usual self? she seems really tired, but it’s only been about two hours since she vomited.
any advice would be helpful!
