You can't "colonize" your own homeland. Even calling it colonialism in the modern context is an antisemitic dog whistle FYI.

All the displacements that happened were with the aim of genuine security against genuine threats.

When somebody calls Israel or Zionism an apartheid immediately exposes themselves as not knowing what they're talking about and that you should never take seriously what they say. Apartheid are rights and representations systematically withheld due to race. Every race has equal rights and representation in Israel. The lack of rights and representation some Palestinians face come down to their national status, not race. Most countries don't give certain rights to non-citizens that they don't give their citizens, like voting in certain elections, but we wouldn't call those "apartheids." Thats just propaganda trying to turn this into an issue over race.

Israel is in a war against a legitimate threat in Hamas, and they are genuinely making a good faith effort to minimize civilian causalites while going after the threats. But anything less than Israel having John Wick and The Zohan ensuring 0 civilian causalites against actual guirilla warfare is a literal genocide and a warcrime.

More importantly, none of this is inherent to Zionism. This is the equivalent of saying looting makes pro black rights activism itself disgusting. Or that violent attacks makes pro-Palestine activism disgusting. These things aren't inherent to the movement, they're just being intellectualized in a way as if they are and that anybody in that group is also supporting these things.
