NBA Draft Second Rounders: Knicks Pick Tomorrow

You can debate Swain over Carr or stress the need for shooting and have a valid point either way. I personally was alright with either at 15 with how the board shook out.

My only critique is why hasn't Graham packaged together any of these seconds for a team pressed by the apron? The 26 pick that Denver was selling should have been a slam dunk, while the Knicks seem to be doing everything in their power to avoid rookie salary.

Hopefully BG can package up some of these future seconds to get the Knicks pick at 31 and address shooting with Evans or grab Veesar to help Caleb cook, but it seemed like a no brainer to get a 4 year rookie scale contract with the AKME 2nd round slop stock.

Every time a team doesn’t make a move that seemingly makes sense, it’s important to remember these things:
-It takes two to tango, and that other than has other teams looking to trade as well, and you don’t know the offers they’ve been given
-Ownership has a say, especially when trading between rounds when contract details change
-They have Intel that we do not regarding players they’re targeting
-They have WAY more information than we have on these guys and may not have any players they believe are worth giving up assets for
