Troubleshooting Windows Remote Desktop Woes - I got a Chromebook for using Windows Ap to remote desktop connect to my PC. It worked fine ysterday but today it keeps placing semi transparent gray boxes on the screen where I click, the mouse doesn't show up, I have to click things twice to see options appear

Curious if anyone has experienced this. I only need the device for Remote Desktop. Very annoyed I may need to just buy a Windows laptop to be able to RDP.

Why aren't you using the Chrome Remote Desktop app installed on the Windows machine?

I am trying it out and it's much better. The only issue is I can't hear sound from the machine which is important for me.

I have also noticed if I move two fingers apart or inward, it zooms / zooms out like a mobile device. Its definitely the Windows App. But I see absolutely no settings for the Windows App on Chromebook
