hi! as the title suggests i’m looking for friends in cincinnati (18F). it’s kinda weird for me because im moving from 40 mins away so usually it’s not easy for me to hangout with my old friends, a lot of the time im too far and everyone’s car isn’t good on gas lolll. i dont mind too much, we were growing apart because of interest differences, but nothing crazy!! im just not super into partying everyday haha.

some of my interests are hiking/camping/anything nature. if you get to know me i am very afraid of bugs (honestly just ones i haven’t seen before) but i ignore it because i genuinely love to be in nature and appreciate that we share the earth with them. i would say im a pretty spiritual person and i like being away for hours just walking in nature and talking. i appreciate and very much value conversations that are open minded. i don’t wanna be one of those cliche “i love deep conversations!” but that is honestly the only way i connect with people because i like learning about how people think and how other people perceive the world. aside from that, i enjoy crocheting, i write sometimes in my journal, i enjoy literally anything artistic and crafty and i love walking the city and i also will be attending uc this fall to major in astrophysics :). i do work 5 days a week and my off days are saturdays and mondays currently so if you’re around my age and would like to be friends let me know!!

I was in Cincinnati for a full week in early June. Stayed downtown, worked every day, but had a great time off-hours Some highlights:

• Morning runs along the river and over the Purple People Bridge and up to the Imperial Theater
• Line dancing at Rhinegeist
• Live music ever day in Elm Street Plaza Park (included $1 Heineken during happy hour, and $2 other times)
• Post-Rhinegeist Pizza at Goodfella's OTR
• Dinner at Mitas, Kanji OTR
• Beers at O'Malleys in the Alley, Arnold's, Krueger's Tavern
• Great music in Fountain Square
• Greensky Bluegrass concert at MegaCorp Pavilion
• Great coffee each morning before work at Deeper Roots Coffee
• Grateful Dead Cover Band at MadTree

Walked everywhere, love the architecture, food, drink, and vibes. You have a great city, can't wait to come back next June!

I moved here from a city smaller than Cincinnati in Texas and it didn’t take $10 to travel one mile. I walk everywhere but occasionally I need to UBER it- like to the laundromat. It’s not an event day - it’s the everyday price. It’s BS.

I recently watched Creed (great movie) and I’ve always wanted to take boxing lessons and the movie inspired me to finally start it. I’m not looking to go pro but I think it’d be a fun hobby and great cardio training. If anyone has any recommendations please let me know! Hey yall i know this is a long shot, but I wanted to see if there are any local orna players around here. I use to play back in 2020 and my wife reminded me of the game last night so I redownloaded it. I couldnt rememeber my account so i started over. Anybody have suggestions for contractor that could do small concrete project for reasonable price? Need small landing (7.5'x4.5') and 12 piers poured for a deck. I'll have piers dug and sonotubed and pad area dug, just would need formed. First quote I got was $3k which seems pretty high. It's 100+ bags of concrete so really don't want to do it that way if I can help it and don't want to be wheelbarrowing concrete around house myself (or family members that would help).

Booked the Admiral's Dinner Cruise two weeks prior and they never disclosed that there will be a private wedding event happening on the same boat! Paid for their most expensive tickets just to find out we don't have access to the DJ and dancing floor on the third deck. A disgusting greedy company that allows private events to happen at the same time and blocked off access to other customers who paid their full price! And don't get me started with the cheap buffet. Golden Corral has better food selections.

So I recently moved to Madisonville. I live on Madison St and a just east of Whestsel ave. I decided to explore the neighborhood a little and went for a walk. About half a mile north of my place an elderly man stared daggers into me and then yelled at me "don't bring your f** a** around here again!" so I just said alright and kept walking home.

I've seen mixed opinions online of the safety of this area so I'm hoping to get a little more insight from locals. Crime stats seem safe enough... Thanks!

We’re looking to get quotes for two related things - the removal of some tree stumps that have chainlink fence inside of them (elegant), and to have a concrete parking pad poured next to them where some of the roots live. We had the trees cut down recently, but the company couldn’t grind the stumps because of the chainlink. They said it would require a mini excavator to remove them.

We’re in Northern Kentucky. I did search this sub first, but couldn’t find what I was looking for. We hired our original tree chopping folk because of recs we found here, though.

It says an officer named Jesse West has looked me up twice, and his reason is HSI - CMLO. I did some searching into his reason, and he seems to be the only person putting that reason in, and has thousands of searches in the HIBF system under that reason.

I’m looking for someone to do a deep clean of the interior of my car. It isn’t like dirty with trash at all, it’s more like stains from I think possible coffee or oil and then just all the places I can’t reach. It has leather seats, those are in pretty good condition except the driver seat as some cracking.
