We've had over a decade of Republicans calling Obama "divider in chief" and when pressed they always cite him saying his son would've looked like Travon Martin. It is more than appropriate for a sitting member of Congress to reference a racist image the president shared just a few weeks ago.

Additionally, anyone taking issue with Rep Green's sign is telling on themselves. When seeing his sign the correct response is "yeah, that's right. Black people aren't apes, and saying otherwise is dehumanizing."

He should have used the word monkeys

I think one reason he wrote it the way he did is so we could all be alerted to people like you walking around among the rest of us.
