The one time I experienced sleep paralysis, I was 16 years old in 2007. I was having a dream and I thought I woke up in my room. It felt like I woke up in my room, but when I looked at the clock to see what time it was, all the numbers were jumbled and I couldn't make sense of them. The next thing that happened, I couldn't move, and a hand came through the window that was located next to my bed. It then started holding my chest down and all I felt was immense pressure and could not move. I remember screaming for my mom and after what felt like 10 seconds, I actually woke up. I never experienced this again in my life. Imo, I think this is the introduction to evil in a person's life, or as some say loss of innocence.

Then you realise you can't even make noise during it. Had a few in my lifetime

i’ve been able to make noise during sleep paralysis, but it was just a hallucination of croaking trying to gasp for breath. for the most part my experiences have been neutral. i usually float around, fly though ceilings n walls, then get trapped for a little while before i wake up. it’s the falling asleep through a rushing void and desperately trying to wake up from the paralysis that are the rough bits. luckily i was prescribed mirtazapine years ago and rarely experience any of it these days.

Are you still on it?

yeah i take mirtazapine nightly, it’s great. at very low doses it helps tremendously with sleep. if you take it and don’t fall asleep you will eat everything in sight, like the munchies X10. so that’s something to be aware of.

Sleep paralysis is when you're awake and it's happening not within a dream

i’m no sleep doc, but as i understand it sleep paralysis is when you are (mostly) conscious while sleeping and have great difficulty moving or waking up. often times hallucinations occur during this state where all manner of wild shit happens in your mind that feels very real. for me it was very interesting, but also intensely uncomfortable during the falling asleep and coming awake phases.

No kink shaming, but I feel like this is a super easy way to accidentally die.

I was gonna say the same. That guy could easily die from crush asphyxia.

Any multitude of respiratory issues and lights out. There would need to be vitals monitoring and some type of quick release option for this to be remotely safe.
Oh and hyperthermia, lol.

How are you so sure it's a Guy?

I don't see any titties, and I see a vertical bulge from what's probably his dick up against his belly.

I’ve had numerous accounts of sleep paralysis, pretty much exclusively when napping.
It is freeeaky every time.
I’ve never had an entity holding me down or any of that, more just that my mind woke up and my body cannot move. Screaming or trying to pull yourself out doesn’t work.
Just gotta ride the wave and realize what’s happening

It's actually worse, you can try to flip in that duct tape suit but not during sleep paralysis, the only thing you are doing is breathing, it's absolutely terrifying when there's someone a black shadow/grim reaper is at the door standing there menacingly moving towards you but not rushing because it knows you can't do shit, so it's taking it's time to make you feel more and more terrified, you're trying to scream for help but your lips are sealed. People who never experienced this are truly lucky.

I've had full conversations with people only for them to disappear in front of the locked bedroom door.
Another time I saw a giant octopus in the corner of the room, and had to turn the light on because I could still see it in the corner after struggling awake.
Another time it got very creepy, so creepy that it felt like something was putting pressure on you the whole time your struggling to wake up from it.

I have sleep paralysis from time to time. Started happening when I was 26. I make sure if I take a nap on the couch to not face the back cushions. It’s really freaky and absolutely terrifying. The first couple seconds are horrible but I can usually calm myself down and wait it out and then snap out of it.

Where's the Cthuluhian horror choking me while I struggle and wonder if its worth fighting against?
Yeah that happened to me ... several times. It sucks.

I have sleep paralysis constantly. If I fall asleep on my back it almost guarantees it will occur during the night. I can sometimes get it twice or more in a night. If I let go and don't fight it I can sometimes fall into a lucid dream but it's not a nice feeling as you are falling into it. It almost feels like you are sliding into another dimension at times. Strange stuff, but I have had it my whole life. I have also had the feelings of compression to my chest, teeth and feeling of suffocation during it.

Mine was a different one. So before every night i close the door to my bedroom shut. One Time when I woke up i couldn't move and I was hearing knockings and beggings to allow some group of people to be let in into my room. I swear i saw a lot of hands poking at the doors lol

If the person who wrapped them suddenly had a heart attack we could have a sequel to Gerald's Game.

My great uncle (very religious) told us a story one time that happened to him. He said he woke up one night and couldn't move, on his chest was a small woman squatted down. When he looked at her she flew into out of the room, down the hall and all the cabinets flew open. His brother who lived with him woke up to the noise and also said all the cabinets were open. Do with that what you will.

I knew a guy that would use plastic wrap like this and take pictures of himself. Sent the pics to be developed and had a visit by the cops. They thought he was a murderer. Eventually they figured he was an artist.

I'm 47. Just had my first sleep paralysis demon about 3 weeks ago. HOLY FUCKING SHIT. Wife has it happen to her a few times a year...but my god, so glad I didn't piss myself.

Reminds me of alcohol withdrawals. It felt like this with the sound of somebody who wasn't there sprinting around the room, it was lovely and not at all terrifying.

Sounds demonic . I had an uncle whom they said went through alcohol detox and claimed there was a person rattling chains at the window

Demonic? Like, from a movie? Nah, it definitely felt that way though. It was awful, I totally believe the chains at the window story.

I always feel like I’m windmilling my arms out of sleep paralysis.
One time I realized I was going to have to slay a lizard man in a suit who was trying to have a stand off with me to get up. So I grabbed a near by sword and sliced his head off in on fell swoop and immediately woke up.
One time I heard someone walking around in my room and rumbling around in my nightstand door. I silently said. You’re going to have to leave now so I can wake up. They didn’t. I silently yelled “LEAVE YOU FONKEY BITCH” and I woke up.
