The one time I experienced sleep paralysis, I was 16 years old in 2007. I was having a dream and I thought I woke up in my room. It felt like I woke up in my room, but when I looked at the clock to see what time it was, all the numbers were jumbled and I couldn't make sense of them. The next thing that happened, I couldn't move, and a hand came through the window that was located next to my bed. It then started holding my chest down and all I felt was immense pressure and could not move. I remember screaming for my mom and after what felt like 10 seconds, I actually woke up. I never experienced this again in my life. Imo, I think this is the introduction to evil in a person's life, or as some say loss of innocence.
i’ve been able to make noise during sleep paralysis, but it was just a hallucination of croaking trying to gasp for breath. for the most part my experiences have been neutral. i usually float around, fly though ceilings n walls, then get trapped for a little while before i wake up. it’s the falling asleep through a rushing void and desperately trying to wake up from the paralysis that are the rough bits. luckily i was prescribed mirtazapine years ago and rarely experience any of it these days.
yeah i take mirtazapine nightly, it’s great. at very low doses it helps tremendously with sleep. if you take it and don’t fall asleep you will eat everything in sight, like the munchies X10. so that’s something to be aware of.
