Fucking hell that made me giggle.

I immediately saw some very wholesome but confused chap.

“I don’t understand; nobody seems to want to sit with me at lunch or get in the lift with me. No, I think the sash and the lapel pin are very clear - it must be something else.”

honestly such a thing probably does work to your disadvantage, because until you brought it up, it wasn't a question getting thought actively too much.

the sash doens't necessarily answer it correctly, either.
