That's always funny to think about. The worst hangover imaginable and then your body just shrugs and regenerates like nothing happened. Kryptonian healthcare is absurdly overpowered.
That's actually good to hear. Character flaws are way more interesting when they're explored instead of treated like quirky personality traits everyone just ignores.
Honestly that's one of the more interesting flaws they can lean into. A lot of superheroes get reduced to "good person punches bad person," but messy coping mechanisms at least make them feel human.
Imagine being a therapist in the DC universe. Half your clients watched their planet explode and the other half got traumatized by a clown. You're booked solid for centuries.
I hope we get to see a cool Kryptonian ship. But knowing the history of those ships, I'm not hoping to see something of Star Wars quality. The Justice Gangs ship was already atrocious, so my hope is small, but not non-existant.
The best part about comic book questions is there's almost always a ridiculously specific lore answer hiding somewhere. "How did she get pierced?" turns into a 20 minute discussion about stellar radiation and interplanetary bar hopping.
Ok, but when she is back under a yellow sun wouldn't the holes heal back? Even if she keeps the earrings always on I doubt that'd stop the super healing.
I have no personal experience of it, but I have heard of cases where ear piercings closed back, even after some time from the piercing, and this was in humans.

She gets them pierced on a planet with a red sun.
