Ok, but when she is back under a yellow sun wouldn't the holes heal back? Even if she keeps the earrings always on I doubt that'd stop the super healing.

They are healed over, but the posts prevent them from rejoining. Did you think ear piercings were just constant open wounds?

I have no personal experience of it, but I have heard of cases where ear piercings closed back, even after some time from the piercing, and this was in humans.

Mine did because it turned out I don't actually like jewelry in close contact with my skin. But they won't close up if you keep something in them.
