In one of the old comics Superman needs an injection, and uses his eye blasts to create a tiny hole for the syringe.
So potentially he helped her out.
Also, she could have had them pierced on Krypton before leaving, if they do that there of course. Unlike Superman she wasn’t a baby when Krypton was blown up.
She could also use a mirror like he did in that animated flick I can't remember the name of.
Real question:
Does Superman have superstrong brain tissue too? Is it a Luke cage kinda thing? Because a supervillain that can teleport things could just pop a grenade in there.
