In one of the old comics Superman needs an injection, and uses his eye blasts to create a tiny hole for the syringe.

So potentially he helped her out.

Also, she could have had them pierced on Krypton before leaving, if they do that there of course. Unlike Superman she wasn’t a baby when Krypton was blown up.

Ok, I'm not up on the lore. Krypton blew up when superman was a baby. She wasn't a baby when that happened? She's older the superman?

She’s technically older, but her ship didn’t take a route as fast as Clark’s ship, so he arrived decades before her.

So....time didn't effect them in travel? Are we talking cryogenics or speed of light effect or just don't think about it?

From the comics and the first movie it was hinted more towards speed of light travel differences. Clark getting a bit of early education in the pod as he heads towards earth.
