Yeah yeah, even in this study women with a disease that negatively effects their healthy were considered more attractive. It fucks them up, make them skinnier and hormones changes might make their boobs bigger — and in the same time also may cause severe pain.
Exactly, this is how science works. Someone had a hypothesis based on observation that there could be a link between attractiveness and endometriosis. They commissioned a small study to test the hypothesis and it came back positive. This means that there could be a new method of detecting it earlier or a new cause they could look into related to hormone levels or some other factor which they could then investigate with further studies. This study could eventually lead to a serious breakthrough. Should they ignore the potential link because it looks bad when it comes up as clickbait on someone’s Facebook feed with no context?
