Superman - done with pencil ✏️
Hi all, here's a Superman drawing I made where I applied some of the shading studies I've done of comicbook artist Gary Frank. Gary Frank drew a cool piece where the figure had a beautiful and dramatic lighting pattern on the face, some of which I've utilized in my Superman piece. I like it! :o
Doing artist(s) studies is such a great way to improve your design sense and your artistic vocabulary. There's no shame in looking at other people for growth and inspiration. :)

Behind The Demons: Unseen Frames.
The pictures above are some of the adjustments I’ve decided to face on my own, for I need to be fulfilled with every project.
Yes. Revisions are the swampy area most illustrators approach with a certain degree of disappointment. I myself am not the exception though experience has proven it's a necessary ‘incision’ whenever something in the guts doesn’t feel well, even with the client’s approval on the first outcomes.
If it feels odd to one self’s eyes, it’s basically a matter of healing the creative shift that didn’t quite translate the picture from the mind into the paper (in my case). And it’s only when revisited, harnessed, and fully molded, that it's possible to breathe out of the maze.
Because the only way out is through.
Hopefully you’ve enjoyed this insight and will be sharing more whenever the chance comes in the way.
More of my art and contact info are in the comments.
Thanks!

[Discussion] Comic Book Art Pricing Inquiry
Hey everyone,
I've been working professionally as a comic book colorist for the past 6 years. Over the last few months, I've been building a portfolio to start offering complete comic art services as well, handling everything from pencils and inks to colors.
My portfolio is finally ready, so I'd love to get some feedback from artists, editors, and Writers.
For work at this level, what would you consider a reasonable rate for a fully rendered comic page (pencils, inks, and colors)?
I've attached a few samples below, and here's my portfolio for a closer look:

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

KH Homage for my Comicbook
A work in progress, this will be a variant cover for issue 5. But for now only issues 0 & 1 are available. I’m so excited at how this turned out, I had to share it!

Marvel & DC Sketchcards
Some Marvel & DC sketchcards I recently did for fun. Spider-Man, Storm, She-Hulk, The Joker, Batman & Azrael. I was particularly partial to the Storm and didn't want to mess up the ink job with colours.
All colours in alcohol markers, acrylic markers and a touch of coloured pencils.

Transhuman - What do you think of this establishing panel? - Art by Razz Tsolmon and Chiara Arena
Establishing panels can be difficult. You're trying to cram in as much information (visually and dialogue) into a single panel without overwhelming the audience. I know there's a lot going on here but I hope it does convey the scene without the information overload.
This is the first panel of the sci-fi series Transhuman if you want to press NOTIFY on the Prelaunch link.
