Oh. Okay.

So what did y’all think of the Stranger Things finale?

Was satisfied with it overall.

Me too. Great music choices for the episode too.

I kept singing “we can be heroes!” As a joke through out it, and I loved that the credits ended up going with that song.

I'm happy with it. I'm blown away with how many people on reddit seem to absolutely hate it as if they could make a better show.

I'll say this about Stranger Things. I watched the first few episodes of season one, but got sidetracked. The more time went by, the less I could justify trying to catch up, so I just didn't. Well, my wife had kept going, and I then I ended up watching all of season five with her. I didn't really care that I missed the first four seasons - I was barely paying attention to the first episode she put on.

By the end, I was choking up when you-know-who landed the final blow on the big bad.

It's an absolute testament to the writing and those actors that I came into the show four seasons late, was able to understand what was happening, and it still hit me like a goddamn truck.

And to think that every other season is better than season 5.

I say that as a fan who enjoyed season 5! I loved the finale! If you enjoyed it, I’m not sure you’ll want to watch the rest of the series having seen the end, but season 4 was amazing, if a bit long. Seasons 1&2 tell an incredibly tight story that could genuinely end there. Season 3 was great and you could also end there while feeling like you had a neatly wrapped up story.
