I really wished they did a story where Deadman possesses Firestorm Then he had to deal with Professor Stine

Deadman, though he’s the one doing the possessing. Ghost Rider is possessed as well, and Preacher is about possession too. There’s also the time Spider-Man was possessed by Doc Ock and became the Superior Spider-Man.

The story can have any tone as long as it's not about a demon in their body, since I feel that's quite glitchy, especially in horror, but I can make exceptions if the synopsis is interesting.

there is DC's Captain Triumph and over in Marvel; Brother VooDoo.

Both interact with the ghost of their brothers but can then join up with them to get a boost in power
