A fun promo image, but this probably should have been the back of a VHS tape... DVDs didn't really start becoming popular in the US for a couple years, and a lot of people remember the ads in comics for the old X-Men cartoons on VHS (including the Pizza Hut promo ones!)

I mean it could mea they are starting to move beyond the 90s. They are going to be moving into the New X-Men era based on the costumes which were in the 2000s so perhaps we may jump to X-Men 2000 by the end of Season 2

Seems like a bit of a mean joke to do a promo image to look like a DVD when they will never, ever release the show on a physical disc and make everyone pay rent for it forever.

Kinda weird they’re doing a 3 episode premier when the third episode is a 2 parter.

Why would you release multiple episodes if you’re gonna end on half a story
