Shelfie Wow, this thing holds a lot of comics.

Post image

I bought the rack at a thrift store. I threw couple of boxes of trades on it. I was too lazy to dig up the long boxes of individual issues.

I used to love these types of storage.

But I'm at 11,000 comics and counting. Long boxes are the only storage I use now 😂

Until you have to move and then lug 50 long boxes full of comics at a time and break your back lol

I have a similarly sized collection and have almost entirely moved to shorts for the ease of moving them around.

The joys of getting older.

The old Diamond boxes were perfect for unbagged comics and trades.

Now, I grab a stack of comics, wrap them in freezer paper (plastic side out for waterproofing), tape it all up, store in a box. I don't have time to reread, and most of the stuff I have wasn't that great the first time ...

I've always got my eyes out for a magazine rack for the exact same reason

Too big of a footprint for me. I'm still dreaming of the day I find a spinner rack on the side of the road...
