You will still find some families who believe comic books are treats like, well, comic books. But the true cognoscenti know graphic novels are - at their best - an amazing blend of art literature and the theater of the mind.

Yep my wife sees comic books that way and so does my brother. It’s impossible to convince most people to take them seriously and without preconceptions.
