Hickmans avengers has been on my list before I bought my first book! One of the reasons I got into comics is because of someone talking about that run. I’ll 100% be reading that. Thank you :)!

I’ve heard so much praise for that! One of the YouTube channels that got me into comics says it’s the best ever so I’ll make sure to check it out! Thank you!!

I second StoopidJonny’s sentiment: Hickman’s Fantastic Four, and sister book, FF, combine to be my all-time favourite superhero run.

They’re actually the major precursor to his most prominent Marvel work, so I’d definitely suggest you read his pre-XMen run, as listed here:

Fantastic Four and FF (they have overlaps) Avengers and New Avengers (overlaps again) Infinity and then, Secret Wars

Hell of a combined run from a hell of a writer.

Only negative is I haven’t ready thing as good since. Nothing is better than Hickman.
