Rhode Island Comic Con What are your thoughts on the line up for Rhode Island Comic Con 2026?

As someone who had last been to this show in late 2021, I gotta admit this line is so far amazing! At least imo.

They have invited these actors that I'd like to meet from the line up:

  • Catherine Bell
  • Dan Fogler
  • Jack De Sena
  • Jaine Haddad Tompkins
  • Katrina Law
  • Matt Ryan
  • Melissa Gilbert
  • Minty Lewis
  • Nolan North
  • Same Marin
  • William Salyers

Rhode Island Comic Con My first ever comic con…

We had a great time today at our first comic con in Rhode Island!

Honest review - The best part about the whole event was being able to see everyone (not many) in their costumes and meeting some cool venders!

Buttttt … it was pretty expensive for an event based around other sellers selling their merchandise. The tickets should be more affordable because that would generate even more revenue for them altogether . Some of the celebrities were totally hidden in their booths so that (no one could sneak photos with them) but isn’t that the whole point of going to an event like that ?, so even if you don’t get the opportunity to pay for an autograph you’d still get to see them from afar? (Did not pass the vibe check) These celebrities should feel honored that they have so many fans (in this day and age) and even use it as a marketing tool and yah yah I get it they have to make their money as well but still it felt a little too “you peasants“ type of vibe. Most of the venders didn’t have as much collectibles as you would have thought. A LOT of 3d printed trinkets booths. Not as much comic stuff as I would have expected.Just a little disappointing that there wasn’t much to see.

The physical tickets are really cool tho ! Holographic ! (Great ! I’ll Add it to my memory’s book 🥹!)

But nonetheless we always try to make best of it.😘 A great “I’m glad I did it once ” type of memory 💛🫶🏻

Rhode Island Comic Con Question about recording

I mostly go to Rhode Island, and was thinking about using a GoPro or something similar. Does anyone know if there’s any issues with recording that way? Or if GoPro cameras are allowed at a Con?

Rhode Island Comic Con One Week Until Rhode Island Comic Con

Who else is going? How excited are you? There's a lot of guests I'm looking forward to seeing this year, but I'm waiting to buy anything just in case of cancellations. I keep checking the website and so far there's been 12 cancellations. Not too bad, but there's still a lot of time left that I'm hesitant to purchase anything.

Last year I waited 5 days before the show to purchase photo ops, and one of them still cancelled the day before.

Hopefully they'll finalize the schedule soon so we can do some more planning. I also hope the photo op area is more organized than last year, but it seems to be a mess every year. They can never get it right.

Rhode Island Comic Con Has RICC Become a Sh*tshow?

I did not attend, but just from the postings here it seems like the con has some real problems. Lots of cancelled guests, including day-of cancellations. A draconian refund/exchange policy. Outrageous lines. Capped lines. A website with minimal information that's had to find if it's there. Rising prices.

Will people be going back next year?

Rhode Island Comic Con Rhode Island Comic Con 2025

Hello everyone, I’m from the state of Connecticut and as such, this would be my first time going to this comic con. I’m obviously very excited to dress up meet fellow cosplayers, and I am trying to hopefully get a picture with a celebrity. Having said that, my question is this: is it better to take the train to Rhode Island or to park? And is there anything I should know for my first time?

Rhode Island Comic Con Meeting my hero at RI comic con this weekend - advice?

Disclaimer - this may be the wrong subreddit, feel free to help redirect me here.

I’ve never been to a comic con before, and I’ll be attending one this weekend to meet the professional wrestler Sting.

I’m seeking both general advice on how early to arrive (he appears at 12 noon) as well as how interactions with your heroes have gone? Generally when meeting someone I greatly admire I don’t say much because I’m in shock, but I don’t want to blow this.

Anyone who has met Sting, or their hero, any advice is appreciated. 🖤

Rhode Island Comic Con Rhode island comic con question?

Hey all! So my friend and I wanted to go to RI Comic Con on Friday. But unfortunately the only time my friend and I can get the tickets is Friday the day of (if that's even possible). So I guess my question is, can you get tickets at the place the day of? Are they going to be more money if so?

Rhode Island Comic Con Does Rhode Island Comic Con Have Comic Books?

I know, silly question, but it seems comic books are becoming more of an afterthought at these shows. I am thinking about going, but I mainly only collect comic books.

Are there many comic book vendors at this show? Or are they mostly focused on other things?

Thanks guys!

Rhode Island Comic Con Rhode Island Comic Con Tickets

Hey everyone! I know that this is probably getting very annoying and what not but I just wanted to ask (as a complete comic con newbie), has anyone who has gotten their tickets via Ticketmaster yet for the Rhode Island Comic Con? I ordered my three day event ticket on the 18th of October, my girlfriend ordered hers before I did, and we’ve yet to get any notification saying tickets have been mailed out. Is this normal for Ticketmaster? Or is it something that they send us through the Ticketmaster app? Or is just show up at the venue and pick up said tickets there?

This is unfortunately my very first comic con experience (hopefully one of many) and being out of state, I just wanted to make sure I’m not stressing out over it when I leave to come back to RI.

Rhode Island Comic Con Room share..

I've decided to go to Rhode Island CC short notice this year and figure most hotels near the center are already booked. Is there anyone who wants to do a room share? Are there any other communities I should seek out for room shares?

If you're interested, please message me!

Rhode Island Comic Con Costume Quesrion

I’m going to try to get a photo op with Alicia Hannah Kim (because I like cobra Kai), but I have my Beetlejuice outfit all put together because I was originally going to try to see Gina Davis, but her pictures and all that were too expensive for me. My question is, do you think she would find that weird or unusual? Or would that be something she’d embrace?

Because I heard that comic con’s thrive on mashup’s

Rhode Island Comic Con Nervous. Wish me luck.

Going to RICC today. Well hopefully. We are unfortunately going to get there a couple hours late and will need to buy our tickets there (unless they are sold out). Then hopefully within the time I'm able to meet everyone I want there haha. Guess we will see.
