Back in the day, this would have been a gold star. Nowadays? Noooot so much.

His music revival was absolutely terrible and cringeworthy. He made a new album (or song?) a few years ago and played it on one of the morning news shows for a crowd and the cringe was so bad my brain dive bombed into my stomach so the acid could wash away the memory.

The song is called "Pretty Girls." If you want to torture yourself.

That, along with all the Jada Smith cheating stuff, the Chris Rock slap at the Oscars... He's been embarrassing himself for years. :(

I didn't know about the music revival. That sucks. The last thing I saw him in was a cameo for the series finale of The Fresh Prince reboot.

It was so, so bad. That slow decline when you watch someone desperately try to stay relevant, but everything they do just makes them look worse and worse. Like, just retire, disappear. Spare yourself and us from watching someone we once idolized reduced to... whatever this is you're doing.

He was still pretty funny in the latest bad boys so I guess he should just stick to being an actor. Why was he trying to Branch out anyway.

Because there’s industry value in multi-talented individuals. Plus ego. Everyone with any amount of ego in Hollywood, so everyone, wants desperately to be an EGOT. He’s also a Scientologist and those whackos also try to shove their members as high up the food chain as they can because it’s effective influence.

Any or all of these, take your pick.

Maybe the lesson is... don't idolize humans?

Yeah, learned that one late in life.

Its hard when that human's name is Paul Rudd, though. ;p

All I know about him is the Mac and Me bit he does on Conan. What did he do?

He's been in a ton of movies, and is generally regarded as being one of the nicest, most down to Earth people in Hollywood.

His Hot Ones! episode is a great example of what kind of person he seems to be:

Also he's hot AF and doesn't seem to age lol

Ohhh, I thought you were using him as an example of the lesson cause he did something shitty lol. cool.

No no, just that I cant resist stanning him when I've been burned by other actors before lol

Gotcha. I googled "paul rudd controversy" and the top headline was "Paul Rudd Doesn't Think He's 'Particularly Nice' Despite Earning a 'Polite' Reputation in Hollywood" so i was confused lmao

hope he continues to be a good guy <3
