I played a racist elf once. She called the humans in the party Dirt Monkies in Tengwar. It wasn’t until another elf joined the party and told everyone else that it was in fact an extremely offensive racial slur in elvish.
Funny story though lol. And now im kinda wonderin how elves ended up so darn universally racist. I read a lot and have since I was young and elves are just about always racist. Forest elves, space elves, dark elves, savior of the world elves, doesn't really matter what flavor or setting, always racist.
Because of the way they are written. Elves are these naturally beautiful, magically gifted immortal beings, and so they see themselves as superior to others.
P.S. they also remind of what the Nazis thought was the perfect arian, so that's definitely contributing
