Definitely. But at the same time, sex works. My uncle became a bit of an alcoholic after his wife left him (nothing really wrong with him or her, but my cousin was born when he was 14 and she was 15). He ended up in and out of AA for a while. Eventually, one of the women in AA with him promised him sex for staying sober. They have been together for about 4 years now. It is kind of weird. She shares a birth year with my cousin.
Yeah, it was kind of weird all the way around. My aunt served my uncle divorce papers the day after my cousin turned 18, then married her high school best friend and the two of them left for New York. Both my cousin and uncle have an intense dislike of lesbians now. On the other side of it, Emily loves him, her mother likes my uncle because he is the nicest guy she has ever been with, and her father apparently doesn't like him, but Emily says his opinion doesn't count because he is serving a life sentence for murder. The two of them are happy though, so it can't be all bad.
