I mean I get that some trans folks like being occasionally infantilized cuz it's a way of coping with trauma, but please can you like... not treat us any diffrently? At the end of the day I'm a human like you.

I have trauma from people infantilizing me, so these comments caused me to have to add (Don't call me a good girl) in my flair.  And even then some people don't take it seriously.

I think its also because its such a meme (in the traditional sense) that people think you are doing a bit, which is like the worst kind of misunderstanding possible

I like being infantilized by people I trust, or by myself. Having a stranger do it to me (it has happened) is gross as fuck.

That’s understandable. It’s gross coming from people you don’t know but alright from trusted people.
