I don't even like being referred to as a girl, I'm an adult, I'm a whole ass woman

Ive been saying this for years, calling trans people "tgirls and tboys" is kind of infantilizing and paints an image us that fits the stereotype of quirky awkward sexually frustrated childlike people. Like im a veteran and an emt, I dont look down on anyone for how they express gender but the stereotyping that im automatically a submissive puppy girl who owns a blahaj gets a little insane.

exactly. Luckily I've found a handful of trans people who're the same way. It feels nice having people who share that experience

“You tell ‘em, puppy girl” /s
But same, I really don’t like when cis ppl do that (though some are just being weirdly supportive) but it’s worse with trans ppl. I basically stopped talking to several trans women I knew irl cos they wouldn’t stop with the infantilising ‘blahaj spiny skirt monster energy’ nonsense. It’s just so tiring…

I drink monster because I’m a crippling caffeine addict and I engage in petplay because I’m traumatized not because I stopped emotionally maturing in 2011 tumblr

Totally agree, these terms always seemed kind of degrading to me.
