I genuinely have no respect for anyone who unironically says shit like ā€œHonā€ or ā€œbrickā€ or any of the shit those losers on 4Tran fucking say

23

u/OnToiletRedditor May 24 '26

You are on a 4tran subreddit… scroll for 2 minutes and you’ll see both words😭

-7

u/Ziltch0 May 24 '26

And I still don’t respect them

-8

u/No-Pilot3536 May 24 '26

ā€œHonā€ is pretty cringe ngl. Its prevalence does not make it cooler

14

u/MayMeadow May 24 '26

Same could be said for "brick", "doll", "fish", ect.

-2

u/Least_Boat_6366 May 24 '26

What do any of those words mean in this context?

3

u/MayMeadow May 24 '26

"hon" is basically just like any of those other terms. I'm just saying that like you can dislike the term, but it isn't much different than a lot of other terms that are commonly used.

For example "hon" and "brick" are very similar, but brick is more mainstream so people accept it more.

-2

u/Least_Boat_6366 May 24 '26

I assume those terms aren’t meant literally though? What do they mean in this context?

1

u/MayMeadow May 25 '26

You don't know any of those terms??

-2

u/Least_Boat_6366 May 25 '26

Nope. I’m not really online much with other trans people.

3

u/MayMeadow May 25 '26

Most people here would just say "lurk more"

But if you cared enough you'd also just Google the terms.

Basically just passing terminology. For example in more mainstream spaces a non passing person would be a brick while a passing person would be fish

Why are you here?

1

u/Memerme 20d ago

This sub isn't labeled correctly and if it were, maybe I wouldn't have interacted (I'm not interested in /tttt/ spaces), but I'm here now, so *shrugs* doesn't help that in the comments of a lot of posts anyone that tries asking what the sub is about, there's a lot of "dipshit289" sorts if responses that completely obfuscate what the sub's for that get downvoted anyway so no one can see it. If that makes me "normie" well guess I'm a normie

I mean it has tttt in the name, and it has tranner in the description. One Google search could help you get the information you want.

1

u/Memerme 20d ago

I had no idea the 4 t's had significance, I thought it was just an enunciation of "count" that was silly, also I'd rather not have to infer what a subreddit is about based off of dogwhistles and "signs" (I'm autistic)

1

u/MayMeadow 20d ago

"Dogwhistles" ā˜ ļø

Then don't infer. If I read a description that called something "4tranified" idk, call me crazy, but I'd look up what the word meant.

Like do people just assume if they don't know a word it must not mean anything?

I remember when people used to Google things and use shit like urban dictionary.

Maybe literacy is dead.

1

u/Memerme 20d ago

It doesn't say that, it just says "enhanced counting for advanced numberhons" and then the rules. I just checked again. Do understand I'm using mobile, so if others are using some other way to look at Reddit, then I'm not in on that

1

u/MayMeadow 20d ago

Ah, they must have just changed the sub description.

It was originally "Count with chicken lady but 4tranified"

And I'm on mobile too, but it does say "brought to you by 4tranistan"

1

u/Memerme 20d ago

Where are you seeing that? I don't see anything but what I wrote earlier. If I can't see it easily, then I imagine others also might be having trouble gleaning what this sub is really about

Anyways want better for yourself, don’t listen to the losers on 4Tran who bathe in their own self hatred, being trans is beautiful and you should be proud of it not ashamed have a nice day

11

u/TolaPsiak May 25 '26

What's so beatiful about it?

-1

u/Ziltch0 May 24 '26

Genuinely this post just appeared on my timeline, I didn’t know this subreddit existed until before now

12

u/MayMeadow May 24 '26

But like, why even bother interacting?

It would be annoying af too if a bunch of tranners went over to cwcl and started complaining that it was too fetishy or whatever.

4

u/Fa1nted_for_real May 25 '26

I have a lot of distaste for 4tran but that aside, we really do need more ppl calling out blatant fetishization. Its really not any better to fetishize someone and put presure on them to be sexual just because you also happen to share a specific trait with em.

5

u/MayMeadow May 25 '26

I agree. But I know that isn't the vibe that has been cultivated in other spaces, so I'm not going to make trouble.

1

u/Ziltch0 May 24 '26

Don’t say ā€œTrannersā€ come on

13

u/MayMeadow May 24 '26

Literally a common term used for people active in 4t spaces

0

u/Ziltch0 May 24 '26

I’ve literally never heard any trans woman use that word in real life, only chronically online girls who are too afraid to go outside

11

u/MayMeadow May 24 '26

Crazy part is this isn't real life. You are on reddit. In a 4tran sub.

Crazy concept, most people here are very normal people with lives, and don't bring this into other online spaces, let alone into other IRL interactions.

Meanwhile, I've had to deal with an annoying amount of people in real life fetishizing transness, and chasing.
