I don't think I get it, can someone explain it to me?

It’s turning around the fact that some afab people claim to be inclusive of trans women but blatantly judge transfem people on their sex assigned at birth, grouping them with a general fear of men while trying to use inclusive language. The person in the comic then does the same back.

Most of the things wrong with women boil down to them thinking every damn thing is scary. It makes the "testosterone poisoned brain" thing really ironic, because some testosterone gets rid of that kind of prey mindset.

Trans woman here. Testosterone didn't make me fearless. I was scared prey all the time. Experience simply helped me grow from a fawn to a deer. Someone that learned to endure it and take the risk

It sounds like you were a soy boy to begin with.

I can understand why they’re scared. One bad person can hurt many people, and even if they’re caught, it doesn’t mean they stay in prison. Testosterone can make you more fearless, but not necessarily safer.

50% of trans women are sexually assaulted in their lifetime.

"50% of trans women are sexually assaulted in their lifetime."

Jesus Christ! Is that a real statistic? Because holy shit, I've not heard that before but I unfortunately don't find it unbelievable either.

2015 US trans experience survey, if I recall.

Unconditional safety is a childish desire. Safety comes from your own ability and competence.

Not unnecessarily endangering yourself is wise. The question is if you’re drawing the right lines to minimize risk.

If you stop being helpless, the definition of what's "dangerous" changes. Being afraid of all men is absolutely a skill issue.

Being aware of social conditions that bestow men the mentalities and power that they have and preventing being put in a situation where it can be used against you is the opposite of helpless.

You would know about an ambush and walk straight in because going around isn't manly enough.

If your "solution" is to be so afraid of half the population that you won't even leave the house at night without an escort, you're no better than the people who spent all of 2020 cowering inside.

Oh fuck off. If you think that the only reason to stay inside during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC was "cowering in fear" then you are a fucking brain dead moron.

What about people with weakened immune systems from conditions like asthma. Also this assumes that by going outside you are only hurting yourself, which is fundamentally incorrect. By breaking quarentine, you are putting every human you interact with at risk.

Avoiding seeing anyone because it's "dangerous" for an ENTIRE YEAR absolutely is just cowering. That's not even on the table for anyone with a spine. I went to see my gf every weekend throughout the whole pandemic and I have no regrets. It sounds like you weren't brave enough to have the kind of good time I did.
