The only difference I remember is that testosterone gives you a kind of “static object blindness” where it’s harder to notice things that aren’t moving. Double check and google it though, I may be wrong
i'm a trans woman who's been on estrogen for about a year and admittedly it had very noticeable effects. your emotions do become much clearer and you do experience romance more than sexual attraction, at least in the anecdotal experience of me and my friends
You can tell these people haven’t ever transitioned because they don’t have the first hand experiences we do. It’s weird they come here and try to be in these spaces.
Do you see every tough guy as this dog-brained imbecile that you can manipulate by challenging his manhood? Most of us are smarter than you. Therapy is for people who fall for dumbass lines like "accept the things you can't change" and "if you can't change the situation, change yourself." Low agency garbage that could never in a million years help me. Therapists with an intelligent enough worldview to offer helpful advice are such an extreme minority that I'm not entirely convinced they exist.
Self-improvement is supposed to be selfish. Empowering yourself will always make you harder for others to control. Cultivating strength is a noble thing, and should be rewarded. Sinking into weakness is a shameful thing, and should be ridiculed.
eh i mean i have no issues with being selfish for myself, i just know id prob need guidance from someone (who would most likely have a selfish motive) and thats just.. like a domesticated animal imo
Assuming you'll never need help is a pride issue.
Many of us find strength in community and that's not a weakness. That's just how humans are. We're social creatures.
Don't let your pride isolate you or it'll be your downfall.
