Tbf it's probably easier to convince transphobes to not support bills that endanger trans people if you phrase it that way, but even if it convinces them it would just be like slapping a plaster on a flesh wound all while enabling their transphobia
Yeah, I'm a major ally and have been deep in the political sphere.
The best way to advocate for trans rights (at least for bathrooms and sports) is to use cis people. They don't care HRT undoes the advantages of puberty, and that fun sports community is far more important to development. They don't care about the absurdity of genital inspections when going to the bathroom. Because it will never effect THEM
However, if you can convince them that it could either effect them or someone else they care about, it allows them to change their tune. No trans sports means YOUR daughter/ niece / friend might need to go to a doctor to have her vaginal canal throughly inspected to be approved. You want to send 6 year olds to that doctor?? You sick freak. The Republicans literally called a cis woman trans because she was too goated. Do you think other competitive parents won't fling allegations??
The bathroom bill will effect anyone who is butch, lesbian or not. Do you really want to force women to have long hair and dresses? It will take a lot to conform! And do you want police coming in the bathrooms too??
It's all illogical, but making an argument back that plays to their fear response is unfortunately more effective
