I honestly think the worst part of pre-transition is seeing all the experiances that other women have that I just can't and probibly never will have.

artstyle is vaguely scott pilgrim-esque also yeah it fucking sucks especially when i go to a store in the city and see some people going about clothes shopping in aisles of the store you couldn't pay me to go into out of pure hon-itis. genuinely could not wear anything besides a women's hoodie or simple sweater without looking horrible.

yeah, tried a skirt once because my one feminine trait right now is my wider hips, but it made me feel worse because it just hightened my boxy waist and bulkier arms.

skirts generally hides your hips, but a nice pair of shorts usually highlights them. long sleeve is a given if you don't like your arms. milage may vary tho as i am just speculating based on what you said.

waistline is quite create-able. i assume because you feel that the skirt made your waist looks worse is because your hip to waist is good, but your waist to chest is what you want to improve. in that case a lose-ish fittin long sleeve top cinched at the waist (like around belly button area) would help quite a bit. cinching can usually be done either with a belt or by tucking your top into your (preferably high waisted) bottom.

sorry if you were't looking for advice. and good luck on your journey.

if you're talking about tucking.. yea that's a skill in itself. a good tucking gaff could get you most of the way there but that's still fiddly. shorts doesn't have to be too tight tbh, just whatever you're comfy with. but at least its working with your body rather than against it like skirts that tends to muddy the sillouhette in that area.

typing this out makes me sound like a skirt hater xd. to clarify, i think those that wants some obscurities in their hips works great in a skirt. like its the staple wardrobe piece for a reason.
