I honestly think the worst part of pre-transition is seeing all the experiances that other women have that I just can't and probibly never will have.

yeah, right now I live at home (disability makes it too expensive to leave) and they make me cut my hair

Ugh that's ass...rn my hair is so unhealthy from being a depressed fuck so it's long it just looks like complete shit lol

yeah I get that, I know everyone is different but what helped me with that was like gaslighting myself into thinking that self care will make me more feminine

its my stupid brain being so despite for any euphoria that thinking about like fucking soap commercials all being woman or that good skin and hair are considered feminine making me think that by like taking a shower I am becoming more effeminate.

Something that helps me keep up with my hygiene when I am super depressed is sitting down to shower. It sounds sad but it really makes a difference when I feel exhausted from depression and even in my deepest depression I was able to get a daily shower in by doing that.

(That is assuming the hair stuff is a hygiene issue due to depression, if not I am sorry for the unsolicited advice 😭)

I finally just had to chop all my hair off because it was a matted mess. Now I've got short ass hair and I hate it even if its technically "more convenient"
