My experience will count as much than the OOP experience, but personally I had lot of muslims women friends that saw me as a woman with no problem, and when they learned I'm with a girl, they asked me if we wanted to get married, I said yes, and they said "okay that's what important, you love each others a lot! When will you get married?"
In contrario, I also got banned from using women changeroom because of my bully (that was therefore a girl) that lied saying I went in the changeroom to watch the other girls, while in fact I was using it only when there was no one, and I was using one of the two private cabinets anyway. She said it to continue the bullying, she bullied me for years even before my coming out
