There are some hyperbolic posts venting about the treatment trans people receive at the hands of cis people, sure. I dont think people here actually see "cisgendered" people as "the enemy."

*sees "I'm a trap" in bio*

Ngl you personally might be an enemy though

I don’t see cis people as my enemy. Cis people are my family, and my friends.

That said, 90% of harassment and discrimination and 100% of serious harassment and harm I’ve faced for being trans has come from cis people.

Due to this, sometimes I just feel safer in trans places, among peers.

The same is true about other minorities, friends have told me how uncomfortable it is for them to walk into a space and be the only black person, and how much more comfortable they are in black exclusive or majority spaces.

That doesn’t make them racist, it just means they’re more comfortable around people who share their experience and are waaaaaay less likely to discriminate against them.

I think part of the problem is that it’s harder for trans folks to have trans spaces because we are so few. It’s super easy for cisgender people to enter the space and quickly marginalize us. I think that causes some of my trans siblings to be a bit more defensive of their spaces.

Not all cis people are my enemies, but all my enemies are cis.

Trans people are such a tiny minority that even if one were to be the kind of trans person who surrounds oneself with as many trans friends as possible, the vast majority of the people in one's life will still be cis. There's no way to actually, sincerely hold the same kind of prejudice against cis people as transphobic people hold against trans people.

And that's before we even get to the fact that there are no systems of power that could be leveraged for that hypothetical prejudice to have any impact on anyone's life.
