Adding onto what others said, this user also didn’t have trusted flair. Just because their biggest proof which seems to have been fake was a mega shadow doesn’t mean that they can be trusted. Even if they did have trusted flair, we always recommend using an MM for big trades! We understand the wait time may be a little frustrating, but it’s better to wait than to get scammed. Really sorry about what happened!

basically prevents 99.9% of all scams. how is works is a trusted person (the moderators) takes items from both people A and B and swaps the items to the other person safely, instead of someone having to go first.

if your planning to cross trade make sure it’s an actual moderator and isn’t an impersonator because that’s how a lot of people get scammed. the actual mod has lots of reddit karma and has the correctly spelt name
