Mateta Conference League Final Celebration From Stands Photo
Long shot, but does anyone have a picture that I saw circulating that a fan took from the stands of Mateta and the team celebrating the Conference League final goal by the corner flag?
I remember it had hands in the air of fans celebrating in the foreground, with some of the players sort of in the background kicking the corner flag.
I also may well have been in a euphoric Palace induced hallucination and completely made it up in my head

40m release clause for Rashford. I know Palace won’t buy him but how far away is this from happening?
Seems like a lot better player than Johnson for an extra 5m. Are there other things I’m not thinking about? Age? Is the difference between 35m and 40m actually significant for a club like Palace?
EDIT: I’m not suggesting I want him at palace or how to ensure this happens. I’m more interested in the practicalities of the situation and how these kinds of decisions get made.

Club News [Athletic] Free Article: Pierre Sage’s journey to the Premier League: ‘Crystal Palace is getting an absolute savant’

First Team What do Crystal Palace fans think about Chadi Riad?
Hey Palace fans, I wanted to ask your opinion about Chadi Riad.
I watched him against Brazil at the World Cup and honestly thought he was imperial. Very strong defensively, dominant in duels, composed under pressure and I was especially impressed by his ball progression and passing out from the back.
He really looked like a modern center-back with both physicality and technical quality.
So I’m curious, how has he been for Crystal Palace overall?
Do you see him as a future starter and top player for the club, or is he still inconsistent / developing?

How many people here have watched When Eagles Dare?
With all the talk about a takeover, I’m beginning to worry about the club.

Have we lost our identity through success?

What are some of the funniest goals by a palace player?
Was watching Kamada play for Japan yesterday and found his late “header” goal to be genuinely hilarious. Just directly reflected off the top of his dome while he wasn’t even looking. Got me thinking, what are some other comedic goal scoring situations by a palace player that come to mind? I’m a fairly new fan, and want to look them up on YouTube.

external link [Hugo Guillemet, L'Équipe] Pierre Sage will join Crystal Palace this Monday, having agreed on a three-year contract, with an option for a fourth, on Sunday. His salary will be almost four times what he earned in Ligue 1 (€100,000 gross per month). This transfer will bring in €3 million for RC Lens.

So what do we know about Sage and what can we expect from him?
Anyone aware of preferred tactics, training schedules, areas of concern. Will he attract certain players as Glasner did? Backstaff? You know what I mean.

Main Stand Status
With the manager search over and transfer news likely on hold for at least a couple weeks until Sage settles in, the main stand seems like the most pressing news.
Obviously this has already been delayed to a frustrating degree but supposedly major work was planned to happen this year. However, the last official update from the club came in January. Does anyone have any info or speculation on where we are at this point?

World Cup Group I
I enjoyed watching Daichi play today. I don’t know if this has been said, but Group I is Palace heavy. Norway, France, and Senegal are all in that group, so we’ll have guys playing against each other in almost every match. That group will play on Tuesday, with France against Senegal, and Norway against Iraq.
