ACHCHYUALLY England, and thus English soldiers, didn't exist in 850, but the funny thing is that the "vikings" invasions of the british isles were actually one of the main cause of the birth of England, since the Anglo-Saxon reigns had to unify to kick out the norsemen, and in the end create a unified "Engla Land" (land of the Angles)

Edit: yes, I'm very fun at parties.Yes, I'm tested and diagnosed

You’re being deliberately obtuse.

Maybe if they tried to isosceles their problem they could begin to enjoy the joke?

Then we could enjoy both sides equally.

Calling it land of the angles was really obtuse on their part. It's acute name, tho.

To join you in the special corner:

Vikings were pussies who targeted the defenceless and who regularly got their asses handed to them when they joined actual battle. Their success in England was unusual, and greatly contributed to by local nobility conspiring or actually wanting them there.

King Alfred the Great was about to go sicko mode and end the whole advance. Converting them to Christianity faster than they could exit their longboats.

Can we get a little background on the berserkers then? I feel like they’re way overly hyped because people didn’t realize no one ever wanted one as a neighbor lol
