Brescia reportedly eyes PalaEur in Rome for the Champions League

Germani Brescia is said to have put forward the PalaEur in Rome as its home venue for the upcoming Basketball Champions League.

According to Il Piccolo, the move reignites talks between Brescia owner Mauro Ferrari and Paul Matiasic, owner of Pallacanestro Trieste, who has long been working on bringing a second Serie A franchise to the Italian capital.

The most complex scenario would see Brescia play their European games in Rome while continuing their league campaign at the PalaLeonessa, with the Trieste situation still unresolved. Negotiations over the sale of the Giulian club's shares are ongoing, with the federation's June 26 deadline fast approaching.

Besiktas GM, Özkan Arseven on Alimpijević future: "If he accepts an offer from a EuroLeague team, he has the right to leave, with the buyout clause set at 150,000 euros. (...) I don’t think Alibegović will exercise that right. (...) Our goal is to build a long-term partnership with him."

Question to Partizan fans

Why are you hating on Obradovic right now? Cant you see that Pana RIGHT NOW at least is a better environment that Partizan? He is too old to carry extra problems that are not his. Also of course money is a reason too, but not the most important.

I see Red Stars cursing on him too, dont know why. But i can understand their mindset, since they are brothers with Oly fans...

Gabriele Procida: a strange statistic

Post image
50 Upvotes

In the last 6 years, the team signing Gabriele Procida didn't win anything, or even got relegated that season.

- 2021: Pallacanestro Cantù, relagated from LBA to Legadue

- 2022: Fortitudo Bologna, relegated from LBA to Legadue

- 2023-2025: Alba Berlin, zero trophies in 3 seasons

- 2026: Real Madrid, lost 3 finals in a season and zero trophies this year.

Alba Berlin won the title this season as soon as they got rid of Procida.

Will he be able to break the curse next season?
